End-User License Agreement
Desktop (Standard) License V.1 // 09 Oct, 2019
INTRO
This End-User License Agreement is an agreement between you and Winston Type Company. This Agreement governs the terms of use the Font Software and the design of the Fonts embodied therein (collectively, “Fonts”), together with any media, printed materials, electronic documentation, updates, add-ons, artwork, web services and any other material that may be associated with the product now or in the future. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not purchase, download, install, or use the Font Software. This agreement covers the Desktop License.
NUMBER OF USERS
The maximum number of simultaneous users is specified at purchase and in your receipt. All users must belong to the same company or household purchasing the font.
ALLOWED USES
You may use the licensed fonts to create images on any surface such as computers, paper, web pages, photographs, printed material, T-shirts, and other surfaces where the image is a fixed size. You may use the licensed fonts to create EPS files or other scalable drawings provided that such files are only used by the household or company licensing the font.
COMMERCIAL ITEMS
You may use the Font Software for commercial items, in a limited range of products specifically for small to medium brands and companies that sold 0-500 items per month. You are allow to create images on any surface such as computers, papers, web pages, photographs, printed material, T-shirts, and other surfaces where the image is a fixed size. You may use the licensed fonts to create EPS files or other scalable drawings provided that such files are only used by the household or company licensing the font.
You may not use the fonts for illegal products such as drugs, weapons, pornographic items, or anything in that circle. Winston Type Company is not responsible for the abuse of these fonts if there are violations committed by users.
THIRD PARTIES
You may provide the licensed fonts to a graphic designer, printer, or other service bureau that is working on your behalf only if they agree to use the font exclusively for your work, agree to the terms of this license, and retain no copies of the font on completion of the work. You may not provide the font or make it accessible to any other third parties.
EMBEDDING
You may embed the licensed fonts into any document you send to third parties. Such documents may be viewed and printed, provided that the recipients cannot edit the type. You may not under any circumstances embed the licensed fonts into software or hardware products in which the fonts will be used by the purchasers of such products.
MODIFICATION
You may import characters from the font as graphical objects into a drawing program and modify such graphical objects. You may not convert the licensed fonts to any format. You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the licensed font itself without Winston Type Company consent
RESTRICTIONS ON PRODUCTS
This License expressly prohibits the use of the Fonts Software in the creation of alphabet products such as, but not limited to: house numbers, stamp sets, rub-on letters, adhesive alphabet letters, alphabet punch and die sets or other methods for use in making such products. Any such use requires the purchase of a separate license.
COPYRIGHT
The font and the accompanying materials are copyrighted and contain proprietary information and trade secrets belonging to the foundry owning the font. Unauthorized copying of the Product even if modified, merged, or included with other software, or of the written materials, is expressly forbidden. You may be held legally responsible for any infringement of the foundry’s intellectual property rights that is caused or encouraged by your failure to abide by the terms of this Agreement.
TERMINATION
Winston Type Company has the right to terminate your license immediately if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must destroy the original and any copies of the Font Software and Documentation.
End-User License Agreement
Webfonts License V.1 // 09 Oct, 2019
Intro
This Web Font End-User License Agreement for the use of web fonts (the “Agreement ”) is a legal agreement between you and Winston Type Company that governs the use of the Licensed Web Fonts that you license from Winston Type Company and which are accompanied by or refer to this Agreement.
This Agreement becomes a binding contract between you and Winston Type Company when you click on the area marked “ACCEPT LICENSE AGREEMENT,” or similar language or when you accept the Agreement by other means (for instance referring to the Agreement in a purchase order, a confirmation email, etc.). If you do not wish to be bound by the Agreement, you cannot access, use or download the Licensed Web Fonts. Please read this entire document before agreeing to be bound.
Binding Agreement
You are bound by the Agreement and you acknowledge that all Use of the Licensed Web Fonts is governed by the Agreement.
License Grant
The Licensed Web Fonts are licensed, not sold, to you for Use only under the terms of this Agreement. Winston Type Company, as the licensor, reserves all rights not expressly granted to you. You are hereby granted a non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-transferable (except as expressly permitted herein) license to Use the Licensed Web Fonts only on Websites which are owned or controlled by you and only using the @font-face selector in CSS files, subject to all of the following conditions:
(1) You may not link to, nor put online, any version of a Licensed Web Font not supplied in a Web Font Kit.
(2) You may not Use the Licensed Web Fonts (1) in, as a part of , or in conjunction with an Application, (2) for Editing, (3) in a Commercial Product, or (4) with technologies other than @font-face, such as sIFR, Cufón or Typeface.js.
(3) You may not use conversion or editing tools on the Licensed Web Fonts.
(4) You must retain the trademark, copyright and other legal information provided in the sample HTML/CSS/Javascript files for each Licensed Web Font in your working Website code.
(5) You must retain the page view tracking code, as supplied in the Web Font Kit, on all Websites that Use the Licensed Web Fonts.
Transfer of the Licensed Web Fonts
You may not rent, lease, sublicense, give, lend, or further distribute the Licensed Web Font(s), or any copy thereof, except as expressly provided herein. You may transfer all its rights to use the Licensed Web Font(s) to another person or legal entity provided that (i) the transferee accepts and agrees to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement, and (ii) you destroy all copies of the Licensed Web Font(s), including all copies stored in the memory of a hardware device.
Copies
You may make one back-up copy of the Licensed Web Font(s) for archival purposes only, and you shall retain exclusive custody and control over such copy. Any copies that you are expressly permitted to make pursuant to the Agreement must contain the same copyright, trademark, and other proprietary notices that appear on or in the Licensed Web Font(s). Upon termination of Agreement, you must destroy the original and any and all copies of the Licensed Web Font(s).
Modifications
You may import characters from the font as graphical objects into a drawing program and modify such graphical objects. You may not convert the licensed fonts to any format. INTRO
This App End-User License Agreement for the use of web fonts (the “Agreement ”) is a legal agreement between you and Winston Type Company that governs the use of the Licensed Web Fonts that you license from Winston Type Company and which are accompanied by or refer to this Agreement.
Select this license type when you are developing an app for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone, and you will be embedding the font file in your mobile application’s code. If you do not wish to be bound by the Agreement, you cannot access, use or download the Licensed Web Fonts. Please read this entire document before agreeing to be bound.
BINDING AGREEMENT
You are bound by the Agreement and you acknowledge that all Use of the Licensed Web Fonts is governed by the Agreement.
LICENSE GRANT
You are hereby granted a non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-transferable license (subject to all of the terms and conditions of the Agreement) to (a) embed the Font Software (i) into an iOS, Android or Windows Phone Application, (ii) in a secure manner which does not allow an End User to access the Font Software outside of the Application; and (b) distribute worldwide such Application to End Users. Winston Type Company reserves all rights not expressly granted to you in this Agreement.
RESTRICTIONS OF USE
(1) The maximum number of distinct Applications into which the Font Software may be embedded may not exceed the number of Applications you indicated at Winston Type Company when licensing the Font Software.
(2) The maximum number of Distributions of a distinct Application may not exceed the number of Distributions specified Winston Type Company when licensing the Font Software.
(3) You may not embed the Font Software (i) in any Application that allows the generation of output such as PDFs, word processing documents, spreadsheets, labeled photos, static images, scalable images, advertisements or other documents or data files, or (ii) in any Application that is a server component in a client/server architecture.
(4) The Font Software may only be embedded in an Application where the Font Software does not represent a substantial component of, and does not represent the primary value or the functionality of the Application into which it will be embedded.
(5) You agree that you will take no action which will have the direct or indirect effect of causing the Font Software to become Publicly Available Software or otherwise be subject to a Publicly Available Software agreement.
ALTERATIONS TO THE FONT SOFTWARE
You may not alter the Font Software for the purpose of adding any functionality that such Font Software did not have when delivered to you by Winston Type Company. If the Font Software contains embedding bits that indicate that the Font Software is only authorized for certain purposes, you may not change or alter the embedding bits.
RESTRICTIONS OF PRODUCTS

End-User License Agreement
ePub License V.1 // 09 Oct, 2019
INTRO
You can use an ePub license to embed the font in an electronic publication such as an eBook, eMagazine, eNewspaper, or interactive PDF.
An ePub license is based on the number of publications in which the font is used. Each issue counts as a separate publication. Regional or format variations don’t count as separate publications. Updated versions of publications that are free to previous customers do not need a new license; otherwise, each new version that is released counts as a separate publication.
For font usage in graphic images shown as the ePub cover, consider a Desktop license instead as most allow for it.
BINDING AGREEMENT
You are bound by the Agreement and you acknowledge that all Use of the Licensed Web Fonts is governed by the Agreement.
LICENSE GRANT
You are hereby granted a non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-transferable license (subject to all of the terms and conditions of the Agreement) to (a) embed the Font Software (i) into an Electronic Publication, including an Electronic Publication that is a Commercial Product, (ii) in a secure manner which does not allow an End User to access to the Font Software outside of an Electronic Publication, and (b) distribute worldwide such Electronic Publication to End Users. Winston Type Company reserves all rights not expressly granted to you in this Agreement.
RESTRICTIONS ON USE
(1) The maximum number of separate and distinct Electronic Publications into which the Font Software may be embedded may not exceed the number of Electronic Publications you indicated at Winston Type Company when licensing the Font Software.
(2) For avoidance of doubt, each Issue of an Electronic Publication counts as a separate Electronic Publication, however regional or format variations of each Issue of an Electronic Publication shall not count as a separate Issue.
(3) The Font Software must be embedded within a file format that protects the Font Software by means of encryption or obfuscation.
Formats that meet these criteria include, but are not limited to, PDF, EPUB 2.01, EPUB 3, and KF8.
(4) The Electronic Publication must be a non-executable file which is displayed by e-reader software or on e-reader devices. Font Software may not be installed in the operating system on which the Electronic Publication runs.
(5) You agree that you will take no action which will have the direct or indirect effect of causing the Font Software thereof to become Publicly Available Software or otherwise be subject to a Publicly Available Software agreement.

End-User License Agreement
Broadcast License V.1 // 09 Oct, 2019
INTRO
This license is reserved for business entities that want to use our fonts for broadcasting/tv/cinema titling. It allows the use and installation of the fonts on all production workstations necessary to preproduction as well as a realtime rendering of the fonts for broadcast use.
This Broadcast End-User License Agreement (“EULA”) grants a business entity (“YOU”) the following rights
BINDING AGREEMENT
You are bound by the Agreement and you acknowledge that all use of the Font Software supplied to you by Winston Type Company for the purposes set forth under this Agreement is governed by this Agreement.
LICENSE GRANT
You are hereby granted a non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-transferable license (subject to all of the terms and conditions of the Agreement) to (a) embed the Font (i) into an Electronic Publication, including an Electronic Publication that is a Commercial Product, (ii) in a secure manner which does not allow an End User to access to the Font Software outside of an Electronic Publication, and (b) distribute worldwide such Electronic Publication to End Users. Winston Type Company reserves all rights not expressly granted to you in this Agreement.
RESTRICTIONS OF USE
(1) The maximum number of separate and distinct Broadcast publications into which the Font Software may be embedded may not exceed the number of Electronic Publications you indicated at Winston Type Company when licensing the Font Software.
(2) For the avoidance of doubt, each Issue of a Broadcast counts as a separate Electronic Publication, however regional or format variations of each Issue of an Electronic Publication shall not count as a separate Issue.
(3) You may modify the fonts for your own purposes, but the copyright remains with Winston Type Company, and you are not allowed to distribute, renamed, edited or derivative works, either for profit or not.
(4) You agree that you will take no action which will have the direct or indirect effect of causing the Font Software thereof to become Publicly Available Software or otherwise be subject to a Publicly Available Software agreement.

You may make one back-up copy of the Licensed Font(s) for archival purposes only, and you shall retain exclusive custody and control over such copy. Any copies that you are expressly permitted to make pursuant to the Agreement must contain the same copyright, trademark, and other proprietary notices that appear on or in the Licensed Font(s). Upon termination of Agreement, you must destroy the original and any and all copies of the Licensed Font(s).
